Aylesbury Vale Advocates have been awarded the much coveted 'Quality Performance Mark' from Action For Advocacy. This award is to recognise the commitment and high quality of independent advocacy that the team provide.
Sylvia Oram, Chair of the Board of Trustees said “On behalf of Aylesbury Vale Advocates I am delighted to announce that we have been granted a national award as recognition of the good practice and quality within the organisation. This is a new qualification run by a National Advocacy Network called Action for Advocacy and is based in London. We are in fact the first advocacy service in Buckinghamshire and third in the country to achieve this new award. My thanks go to the staff, volunteers and the Board of Aylesbury Vale Advocates for their contributions to our services. This is an outstanding achievement and a recognition of the high quality of the advocacy service we provide.”
